I would rather be fluent in all languages than be able to communicate with animals. Language is the foundation of human connection, enabling access to diverse cultures, knowledge, and opportunities. Speaking every language would allow me to travel, work, and form relationships without barriers. Research shows that multilingualism enhances cognitive abilities, improves memory, and delays neurodegenerative diseases. While understanding animals would be fascinating, human languages unlock vast possibilities in education, diplomacy, and global collaboration. The ability to communicate worldwide would have a greater impact on society and personal growth than understanding animal thoughts.
