Today, I started reading an book that I found interesting. I learned new words and expressions such as "to be stood up" and "dew".
To be stood up means to have an appointment with someone and the person didn't show up without noticing you. Fun fact, I remember the time we should met with my boyfriend, but I got stood up because he forgot to pick me up. It's funny to tell now but at that time I was very angry.
The dew is the early morning water outside, like in the grass, the window etc.
I read the book, then I took note of the new words. I looked for their defitions and I highlighted those that I could really use in daily life, then I tried to use them in my own sentences. It works !
