Noun
A noun is a word that names a person, place, thing, or idea.
Examples: Ali, school, book, happiness
Sentence: Ali is reading a book.
2. Pronoun
A pronoun is a word used in place of a noun.
Examples: he, she, it, they, we
Sentence: She is going to school.
3. Verb
A verb is a word that shows action or state of being.
Examples: run, eat, is, write
Sentence: They play football.
4. Adjective
An adjective describes a noun or pronoun.
Examples: beautiful, tall, blue, smart
Sentence: She has a beautiful dress.
5. Adverb
An adverb describes a verb, adjective, or another adverb (how, when, where, how often).
Examples: quickly, very, always, here
Sentence: He runs quickly.
6. Preposition
A preposition shows the relationship between a noun (or pronoun) and other words in a sentence.
Examples: in, on, under, at, between
Sentence: The book is on the table.
7. Conjunction
A conjunction joins words, phrases, or sentences.
Examples: and, but, or, because
Sentence: I like tea and coffee.
8. Interjection
An interjection expresses strong feeling or emotion.
Examples: wow!, oh!, alas!, hurrah!
