Parts of Speech Discussion

1. The parts of speech are considered the building blocks of the language, we learn the parts of speech for two main reason 
   
   I chose this sentence because explains that words are like "bricks" (building blocks); without them, we cannot build a complete language.
   
   
2. When you know what part of speech a word is, it's easier to see the meaning of a sentence.
   
   I learned that identifying the category of a word (if it is a verb, noun, etc.) directly helps us understand the message more clearly.

Examples of parts of speech: 

Nouns: name a person, place, thing, or idea

Pronouns:  he, it, you, they, I

Adjectives: smart, cute, expensive, black, incredible

Verbs:  teach, eat, talk

Adverbs: clearly, happily, here, well, intelligently

Prepositions: in, on, over, at

Conjunctions: and, so, because, but, if

Interjections: yay, oh no, oops.
