Sorting Arrays with the .sort Method

The sort() method for arrays in JavaScript will sort the elements of an array in place and return the reference to the sorted array. The sort defaults to ascending. Sorting arrays makes finding the minimum and maximum of data sets easy. The reverse() method can change the ascending sort into a descending one.  This video shows how to sort an array of numbers and characters.
