Last week, I unexpectedly worked only one day and had 6 days off. The reason why I got that much day off was because it was the second week of Ramadan. Since all Muslims in the UAE are observing the Ramadan by fasting from sunrise to sunset, the restaurant I am working for is not as busy as other days. So, my manager decided last week that only one waiter go to work and all the others took days off. I studied English most of the time during my days off. I also read skimmed and scanned some books and wrote about some topics that interested me. Moreover, I had a chance to go shopping and hanging out with friends. Although it was a bit boring to take 6 consecutive days off, I spent each day quite happily and meaningfully.
