Here are some sentences I found in the ESL002 present tense forum:
"My brother's name is Mitch. He is a farmer and He works hard. He drives a big truck."
Second Sentence: main verbs are is (verb to be) and works which is third person singular. Who works? = He , pronoun use as a subject which is third person singular . Its antecedent is the noun "brother" in sentence 1 which is also third person singular. The subject and verb in this sentence agree and the pronoun and its antecedent also agree.
Third Sentence: main verbs are is drive which is third person singular. Who drive? = He , pronoun use as a subject which also third person singular . The subject and verb in this sentence also agree.
