I believe IT offshoring is a double-edged sword. It can lower costs and improve global efficiency, but it also leads to job losses and economic disruption in the home country. While offshoring can create opportunities in developing countries, it’s important for companies to balance cost savings with social responsibility by investing in worker retraining and supporting affected communities.
