IT offshoring has pros and cons. It cuts costs for companies and creates jobs abroad, but can hurt local workers and raise quality/security risks. The key is balance: use offshoring strategically, not just for cheap labor, and invest in upskilling at home.  


**Good:** Saves money, accesses global talent.  

**Bad:** Job losses, ethical concerns.  

**Solution:** Hybrid models ("rightshoring") and fair wages.
