The parts of speech is is a very important tool in the English Language. We use it in everyday conversations and writing, hence, learning what they are and how to use them is essential. The parts of speech include:

1. Noun: refers to words that name a person, place, thing, or concept.

2. Pronouns: these are words that replaces a noun in a sentence.

3. Adjectives: are words that give more information about nouns.

4. Adverbs: refers to words that modify verbs, adverbs, adjectives by telling us more about them.

5. Verbs: are words that describe an action or state of being

6. Conjunction: these are words that connect, words, phrases, and clauses.

7. Preposition: are words that show the relationship of place, time, location, etc.

8. Interjections: these are words that express strong emotions.

9. Articles: these are words that introduce a noun (a, an, the)
