There are eights parts of speech namely;
1. Noun - name a person, thing, place or idea, examples - Farida, London, pen, Success.
2. Pronoun - take place of a noun, examples It, he, she, they, I
3. Adjective - describe more about noun or pronoun, examples - courageous, beautiful, black, smart.
4. Verb - these are to actions or state of one being, examples - walk, talk,achieve, be, believe.
5. Adverb - describe verbs, adjective or other adverb, examples - quickly, fast, quietly.
6. Conjunctions - words used add or show relationship between word or phrases, examples - and, since, when, or.
7. Prepositions - word used before noun , pronoun or noun phrase to show direction, time, place, spatial relationship or introduce an object. examples - over, an, in , on, under.
8.Interjections - mainly used to show expressions or state of one being, examples Ouch!, wow!.
