One sentence I looked at was: "My brother plays football at the park every weekend."
I tried to break it down using the SVOMPT sentence structure:

  • S (Subject): My brother – he’s the one doing the action.

  • V (Verb): plays – that’s the action he’s doing.

  • O (Object): football – this is what he plays.

  • P (Place): at the park – where he plays.

  • T (Time): every weekend – when he plays.

  • (No Manner in this sentence.)

It was interesting to see how each part fits into the pattern. It helps make the sentence clearer and more complete. I'm curious to see how other people broke down their sentences—maybe someone found one that includes a manner too!
