PART OF SPEECH:

NOUN 
word that names a person, place, thing, or idea. (EX. ana teacher, mountain, frog, house.)
PRONOUN replaces a noun or noun phrase. (EX. I, you, he, she, it, we, they.)
VERB  action word or state of being. (EX. run, jump, eat, walked)
ADJECTIVE  words that describe or modify nouns and pronouns. ( EX. happy, gloomy, tall, smart, red)
ADVERB  It provides more information about how, when, where, or to what extent something is done. Adverbs often end in "-ly" but not as always. (EX. quickly, very, slowly, always, now)
PREPOSITION  They are typically short words like "in", "on", "at", "to", "from", "with", and "by". Prepositions are usually followed by a noun or pronoun, forming a prepositional phrase. (EX. in, on, under, over, at, from, to)
CONJUNCTION helps create relationships between different parts of a sentence, showing how they relate to each other.  (EX. and, but, or, so, because, although)
INTERJECTION words or phrases that convey feelings like surprise, joy, pain, anger, or excitement. (EX. Wow! Oh! Ouch! Hey!)
