After going through the Parts of Speech lesson, I found some sentences that helped me understand how parts of speech work. Here are a few examples:

  1. "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog."

    • The – Article

    • quick – Adjective

    • brown – Adjective

    • fox – Noun

    • jumps – Verb

    • over – Preposition

    • lazy – Adjective

    • dog – Noun

  2. "She sang beautifully and danced gracefully."

    • She – Pronoun

    • sang – Verb

    • beautifully – Adverb

    • and – Conjunction

    • danced – Verb

    • gracefully – Adverb

I learned how adverbs (like "beautifully" and "gracefully") describe verbs, and how prepositions (like "over") show relationships between words.
