Hello everyone!

I hope you all are doing well and enjoying this course 🌟

My name is Ashkan and I’m from Iran. Today, I feel really happy and excited because I learned many new words that I believe will help me a lot in my career and personal life 😊

I tried using the context clues strategy to build my vocabulary. Whenever I encountered an unfamiliar word, I paid close attention to the sentences and words around it to guess its meaning. Honestly, this method worked very well for me! It made reading easier and smoother, and I didn’t have to rely on a dictionary so often.

Also, I found that writing new words in sentences and repeating them out loud really helps to remember them better.

Here are some of the new words I learned and the sentences I made with them:

1. Elsa is driving her brother’s car interim until she buys her own.

2. Alex and his friends convened to go to the cinema.

3. I dislike employees who are tardy to their duty.

4. Reading voraciously and solving word puzzles are two excellent ways to increase vocabulary.

I am really thankful to Saylor Academy for this great course 🙏

This course means a lot to me ❤️🥰

Wishing you all success on your learning journey!

Thank you!
