Parts of Speech Discussion

I read the Parts of Speech lesson and found some sentences that helped me understand better. Here are a few examples and the parts of speech I found:

Sentence 1: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

• Nouns: fox, dog

• Adjectives: quick, brown, lazy

• Verb: jumps

• Preposition: over

• Article: the

Sentence 2: She runs very fast in the morning.

• Pronoun: she

• Verb: runs

• Adverbs: very, fast

• Preposition: in

• Article: the

• Noun: morning

These examples helped me see how each word has a job in the sentence. I now understand better how adverbs and adjectives work.
