Hello everyone,

My name is Cynthia Mueni, and I live in Nairobi, Kenya. I work as a teacher, and I enjoy helping students learn and grow. Teaching is not just my job, it’s something I truly love.

In my free time, I enjoy reading true story books, watching movies, and sometimes just relaxing by myself. I also like traveling to new places when I get the chance. But I really don’t like crowded or noisy places  they make me feel tired.

One of the things I’m looking forward to in this class is...

Sentence patterns I used:

  • SV (Subject + Verb): I live in Nairobi.

  • SVO (Subject + Verb + Object): I read true story books.

  • SVOC (Subject + Verb + Object + Complement): I find teaching very rewarding.

  • Compound sentence: I enjoy watching movies, and I also like traveling.

  • Complex sentence: Although I love teaching, I still need time to rest.

  • Incomplete sentence (fragment): One of the things I’m looking forward to in this class is...

Sentence types I used:

  • Declarative: I work as a teacher.

  • Exclamatory: I really don’t like noisy places!

  • Incomplete (sentence fragment): One of the things I’m looking forward to in this class is...

Nice to meet you all, and I hope we learn a lot together!
