Hello, everyone. My name is Zeru, and I am from Ethiopia. I am an accounting and finance teacher, so I am happy to teach my students. My primary function is to teach students and evaluate their understanding to check how effective my teaching methodology is. I like tackling complex problems and helping learners find clear, accurate solutions; however, I dislike harmful practices and misleading information.


Analysis of Your Sentences 

Sentence Patterns Used:


1. S-V-C (Subject-Verb-Complement):

   · "My name is Zeru..." (Subject: My name, Verb: is, Complement: Zeru).

   "I am an accounting and finance teacher..." (Subject: I, Verb: am, Complement: teacher).

2. S-V (Subject-Verb):

   "...I am from Ethiopia." (Subject: I, Verb: am).

3. S-V-O (Subject-Verb-Object):

    "...I am happy to teach my students." (Subject: I, Verb: to teach, Object: my students).

    "I like tackling complex problems..." (Subject: I, Verb: like, Object: tackling complex problems).

Types of Sentences Used:


· Simple Sentence: "Hello, everyone." (A single independent clause)

· Compound Sentence: "My name is Zeru, and I am from Ethiopia." / "I am an accounting and finance teacher, so I am happy to teach my students." (Two independent clauses joined by a coordinating conjunction: and, so).

Complex Sentence: "My primary function is to teach students and evaluate their understanding to check how effective my teaching methodology is." (This contains an independent clause and a dependent clause starting with "how effective...").

Compound-Complex Sentence: "I like tackling complex problems and helping learners find clear, accurate solutions; however, I dislike harmful practices and misleading information." (This has two independent clauses and one dependent clause—"helping learners find...").

Declarative Sentence: All sentences are declarative.
