Today, I decided to try the flashcard strategy to build my vocabulary. I wrote new words on one side of a card and their definitions and example sentences on the other side. This helped me review the words several times during the day.
It worked well for me because I could quickly test myself and practice using the words in sentences. Some of the new words I learned were “resilient” (able to recover quickly), “meticulous” (showing great attention to detail), and “versatile” (able to do many things well).
I think I will keep using flashcards because they make learning new words more active and interactive.
