Noun: to name a person/idea or something.

Example: Fatimah is studying radiology in Miami.


Pronoun: replaces the noun.

Example: Karim is very polite/He is very polite

 "He" replaces "Karim"


Verb: describes an action/help to know the time (past/present/future).

Examples: Mariam helps me with my homework.

Mariam was helping me with my homework.


Adjective: describes nouns/pronouns.

Example: This big shop is where i bought my pink dress.


Adverb: describes verbs/other adverbs/adjectives.

Example: Amir always sends flowers, weekly, to his mother.


Preposition: to know the location/time/place in a sentence.

Examples: The bag on top of the desk is mine.

Between you and me, you are better at painting.


Conjunction: joins sentences/words

ExamplesFatima and Mariam are bestfriends.

Karim draws and paints this art.

My friend would like to go in Italy but his mom would surely say no.


Interjection: shows emotions/feelings.

Examples: Wow! The cake is delicious.
