I’ve learned about the eight (8) parts of speech. While reading the resources, I noticed that Robert appeared in many of the example sentences. One sentence I remember clearly, because of the recency effect, is: "He pauses and asks which one he should eat"

"He" is a Pronoun

"pauses" is an injunction in this sentence,  written in a formal way

"and" is a Conjunction

"asks" is a Verb

"which" is a Pronoun (introduces the clause which one he should eat)

"one" is a Pronoun

"he" is a Pronoun

"should" is a Helping verb

"eat" is the Main verb

Noun - names a person, place, thing, or idea (dog, city, love).

Pronoun - replaces a noun (he, she, it, they).

Verb - shows action or state of being (run, is, think).

Adjective - describes a noun or pronoun (happy, blue, tall).

Adverb - describes a verb, adjective, or another adverb (quickly, very, well).

Conjunction - connects words, phrases, or clauses (and, but, because).

Preposition - shows relationship between a noun/pronoun and the rest of the sentence (in, on, at, to).

Interjection - expresses strong emotion (Wow!, Ouch!, Hey!).

Articles - words (“a,” “an,” and “the”) that define a noun as either specific or unspecific.
