Today, I tried using the word map strategy to build my vocabulary. I chose one new word “zealous" and created a word map that included its meaning, synonyms, antonyms, and an example sentence. “Zealous” means showing strong enthusiasm or passion. Some synonyms I learned are eager, devoted, and enthusiastic. it helped me remember the word better because I connected it with similar words and used it in a sentence: She is zealous about learning new skills. Writing and visualizing the word made it easier to recall later.
