the swntence pattern

I looked at the sentence and used the SVOMPT pattern to break it down. The pattern stands for Subject – Verb – Object – Manner – Place – Time.

For example, in the sentence “She cooks food quickly at home every day,” the SVOMPT table looks like this:

  • S (Subject) – She

  • V (Verb) – ate

  • O (Object) – noodles

  • M (Manner) – quickly

  • P (Place) – at home

  • T (Time) – last night

This helped me understand how sentence parts are ordered in English. Looking forward to seeing how others did it!
