In this activity, I practiced identifying sentence structure using the SVOMPT model: Subject, Verb, Object, Manner, Place, and Time. This helped me understand how English sentences are organized and how each part contributes to meaning.
Here is the short text I analyzed:
Robert lives in an apartment.
He loves his job.
His wife teaches college courses.
They work in the mornings.
Each sentence follows a clear pattern:
In the first sentence, Robert is the subject, lives is the verb, and in an apartment shows the place.
In the second, He is the subject, loves is the verb, and his job is the object.
In the third, His wife is the subject, teaches is the verb, and college courses is the object.
In the last sentence, They is the subject, work is the verb, and in the mornings shows the time.
This exercise helped me improve my awareness of sentence structure and will support me in writing more accurate and professional English, especially for academic and exam purposes.
I welcome feedback or questions from classmates!
