Parts of Speech Discussion

Here are two sentences I learned from:

1. "The cat sleeps quietly."

   • quietly - Adverb (describes how the cat sleeps)

2. "I have a book and a pen."

   • and - Conjunction (connects two words)

I learned that adverbs describe verbs and conjunctions connect words.
