Now that i have better understanding of using the simple and continous  aspect of the past tense I recounted a memorable experience from last week: my family vacation. This event stood out from my usual routine and provided an opportunity to share how we navigated unexpected challenges and enjoyed new activities together I recounted how my family and I went on a vacation together, which was not part of our usual routine. We woke up early to start our journey and traveled for several hours by train. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were surprised to find the doors locked, but fortunately, everything worked out, and we checked in successfully.

During our vacation, my sister and I enjoyed morning strolls, while my parents preferred to have breakfast in the room. In the afternoons, we explored museums and local markets together, and in the evenings, we bonded in a nearby park.

It was interesting to hear from my classmates about their own experiences and adventures. Reading their stories allowed me to see the variety of activities and events people engage in outside of their daily routines. I particularly enjoyed learning about different travel destinations and cultural experiences that my classmates shared.

Overall, sharing these stories helped us practice using the simple past and past continuous tenses, along with appropriate time expressions, to vividly describe events and experiences from our lives. It was a fun and engaging discussion that gave us a glimpse into each other's lives beyond the classroom.
