Today, I tried using the word mapping strategy to build my vocabulary. I chose one new word and created a small map that included its definition, synonyms, antonyms, and an example sentence. This strategy worked well for me because it helped me see how the word connects to other ideas.
One new word I learned was “versatile.”
Definition: able to do many different things
Synonyms: flexible, adaptable
Antonym: limited
Example: A versatile person can handle many tasks at once.
Using the word map helped me remember the word more easily. I think I will continue using this strategy because it makes learning new vocabulary clearer and more organized.
