Today I tried the “Use It or Lose It” strategy. I picked some new words from my reading—attest, dilapidated, and stoic—and used them in my own sentences. For example, “The old barn looked dilapidated after the storm.”
It really helped me remember their meanings better. I think I’ll keep using this strategy with more words every day.
