From the Parts of Speech lesson, I learned that every sentence is made up of different word types, and each one has a specific role. For example, nouns name people, places, or things; verbs show actions; adjectives describe nouns; and adverbs describe verbs or adjectives. Understanding parts of speech helps in forming correct and meaningful sentences.
