Today I tried the context clues strategy to build my vocabulary. When I came across unfamiliar words, I looked at the surrounding sentences to figure out their meaning before checking a dictionary. This strategy worked well for me because it helped me understand words faster and remember them better. I learned new words like “travesty,” “stoic,” and “lethargic.” Using context clues made reading feel easier and more natural, and I will continue using this strategy to improve my vocabulary.
