Nowadays, parts of speech are still the basic building blocks of language, but the way we use them has become more flexible because of modern communication, technology, and social media.
Traditionally, English has eight main parts of speech (noun, pronoun, verb, adjective, adverb, preposition, conjunction, and interjection).
Noun – book
Pronoun – she
Verb – run
Adjective – beautiful
Adverb – quickly
Preposition – on
Conjunction – and
Interjection – wow!
