I currently live in a small, quiet city near the mountains, which I love. My job involves writing and editing educational materials, and I find it very rewarding. On weekends, I enjoy hiking on local trails or reading science fiction novels. Honestly, I dislike loud, crowded places, so I rarely go to big parties. Do any of you enjoy outdoor activities or reading?
Sentence Patterns and Types Used:
1. Sentence Patterns (SVOMPT):
S - V - P: "I currently live in a small, quiet city near the mountains..."
S - V - O: "...which I love." / "My job involves writing and editing educational materials..." / "I enjoy hiking on local trails or reading science fiction novels."
S - V - O - P: "I enjoy hiking on local trails..."
S - V - M - P: "I rarely go to big parties." (Manner = rarely, Place = to big parties)
2. Sentence Types:
Declarative (making statements): Most of my sentences are declarative, like "I find it very rewarding."
Interrogative (asking a question): I ended with a question: "Do any of you enjoy outdoor activities or reading?"
Complex Sentence (using a relative clause): "...a small, quiet city near the mountains, which I love."
