Today I used the context clues strategy. I tried to understand new words by looking at the sentences around them while I was reading.This worked for me because I didn’t have to stop reading to check the dictionary right away. I learned new words. The story helped me understand what they meant. I think this is a good way to learn new words, and I will use it again.
