Today I tried the keyword method. I chose five new words related to Philippine history: ilustrado, katipunan, cedula, hacienda, and indio. I associated each with a memorable image (e.g., ilustrado with an illustrated book). This helped me remember their meanings. It worked well! I successfully recalled all five words later. The keyword method is effective for visual learners.
