Parts of speech

1. Noun

A person, thing, place or idea.

Example: book, dog, doctor

Sentence: My dog is small.

2.Pronoun

Takes the noun's place

Example: he, she, it, they

Sentence: They look great.

3.Adjective

Describe a noun or pronoun

Example: green, big, amazing

Sentence: This is an amazing day.

4.Verb

Describes an action or the state

Example: run, eat, climb

Sentence: My parents create figures.

5.Adverb

Describe a verb, adjective or another adverb

Example: quickly, recently, very, well

Sentence: She arrives early

6.Interjection

Expresses emotion or surprise

Example: wow, aww, oops

Sentence: Aww, the cat is so cute

7.Conjunction

Connect words, phrases and clauses

Example: and, but, for

Sentence: It is expensive, but I like it very much

8.Preposition

Shows relationship of place, time, location between words

Example: on, to, at

Sentence: The bread is on the table

Introduce nouns

I learned more about 8 parts of speech.Noun is a naming words,pronoun it takes a place of a noun,adjective describe a noun or pronoun.verb it is an action,adverb describe an adjective or a verb.interjection express the emotions, conjunction it connect words or phrases and preposition show relationship of place,time and location between words.
