Today I tried the strategy of learning new words using context clues. I read sentences carefully and used the meaning of the sentence to understand the new word. This strategy helped me guess the meaning of words without always using a dictionary.
Some of the new words I learned are supervision, supervise, meaningless, impossible, and misbehavior. For example, I learned that supervision means watching or managing people, and misbehavior means bad or improper behavior.
This strategy worked well for me because it helped me understand how the words are used in sentences. I will continue using context clues to improve my vocabulary and understand English better. ✍️
