Vocabulary Learning Using Context Clues

Today I used the strategy of context clues to learn new words. I tried to understand the meaning of unfamiliar words by reading the sentences around them instead of using a dictionary right away.

This strategy worked well for me because it helped me stay focused on reading. I learned new words like “reluctant,” which means unwilling, and “abundant,” which means more than enough.

I think this method is very useful because it helps improve both my reading and vocabulary. I will keep using this strategy to learn more new words in the future.
