In this section, I learned about the basic parts of speech in English and how they are used to build sentences correctly. Understanding these elements helps me express ideas more clearly.

There are eight main parts of speech. I will explain them briefly:

  1. Noun: A word that names a person, place, or thing (e.g., Alex, city, car).
  2. Pronoun: A word used instead of a noun to avoid repetition (e.g., he, she, it).
  3. Adjective: A word that describes a noun (e.g., big house, red car).
  4. Verb: A word that expresses an action or a state (e.g., run, eat, be).
  5. Adverb: A word that describes a verb, adjective, or another adverb (e.g., very fast, slowly).
  6. Conjunction: A word used to connect words or sentences (e.g., and, but, because).
  7. Preposition: A word that shows the relationship between a noun and another word (e.g., in, on, at).

This topic helped me understand how sentences are formed and how to avoid common mistakes when speaking or writing in English.
