To improve my vocabulary, I decided to use the strategy of learning new words through context. I applied this by reading short texts and identifying unfamiliar words, then guessing their meanings based on how they were used before checking their definitions. This strategy was effective for me because it helped me understand words more naturally within sentences.
Through this approach, I learned new words such as lethargic and stoic. I learned that lethargic means feeling tired or lacking energy, while stoic refers to someone who remains calm and does not show much emotion. Overall, this strategy helped me expand my vocabulary and improved my confidence in using new words. I plan to continue using this method to further develop my language skills.
