Today, I decided to try the thesaurus strategy to improve my vocabulary. I picked some common words that I usually use and searched for better or more interesting synonyms. For example, instead of always saying “happy,” I learned words like “joyful,” “content,” and “delighted.” I also found alternatives for “big,” such as “enormous” and “huge.”
Honestly, this strategy worked well for me. It made me realize that there are so many words I can use to make my sentences more expressive and less repetitive. At first, I got a bit confused because some words have slightly different meanings, but as I continued, it became easier to understand when to use them.
