Today I tried the strategy of learning words in context. Instead of memorizing a list of words, I read a short passage and tried to guess the meaning of new words from the sentences around them. For example, while reading about First Nations languages, I learned words like preserve, endangered, and ancestors by understanding the topic.
This strategy worked very well for me. It helped me not only learn new words but also understand how to use them in sentences. I will continue using this strategy because it makes learning vocabulary more natural and interesting.
