Vocabulary Building Discussion
Today, I tried the “flashcards” strategy to improve my vocabulary. I wrote new words on one side of a card and their meanings on the other side. Then, I tested myself several times to see if I could remember the words.
It worked well for me! I learned several new words, such as “purrs,” “claps,” and “pour.” Using flashcards helped me remember their meanings and how to use them in sentences.
I think this strategy is very useful because I can review the cards anytime and slowly add more words to my collection. I plan to continue using flashcards every day to build my vocabulary.
