Vocabulary Strategy I Tried
Today, I tried the context clue strategy. This means I looked at the sentence to understand the meaning of new words instead of using a dictionary immediately.
For example, I learned these new words:
- Curious – wanting to know something
- Delighted – very happy
- Journey – a trip from one place to another
This strategy worked well for me because it helped me guess meanings easily and remember the words better. I also understood how words are used in real sentences.
