Tense Consistency Discussion- Let's Apply

Last summer, my family and I traveled by car from Lithuania to Poland, Gdansk.  We visited many castles, the old town with its amazing architecture and the Baltic Sea beach. We haven't been there before. It was a pleasant and memorable trip.
