I learn in English there are eight parts of speech. Noun, pronoun, verb, adverb, adjective, preposition, conjunction and interjection.
Nouns : place, things
Pronouns : to substitute nouns
Verb : action , state
Adverb : describe verb, adjective
Adjective: describe nouns
Preposition: to show relationships between places, time
Conjunction: to connect words, phrases
Interjection: to express emotions
