I have learn during my times when I was studying English about the different parts of speech. They are named as nouns, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions and interjections.
I have learn about their meaning and how they are used in sentences. The first part of speech namely, nouns - names a person, place, thing, or idea. Second, Pronouns replaces a noun or noun phrase. Third, Verb which describes action, state or event. Fourth, Adjective describes a noun or pronoun Sixth, Adverb modifies a verb, adjective or another adverb. Seventh, Prepostion shows relationships of time, place or direction. Eighth, Conjunction links words, phrases or clauses and Last, Interjection expresses strong emotion.
