By organizing sentences into the SVOMPT table, we can see how each part of speech functions in sentence structure. The subject tells us who or what the sentence is about, the verb shows the action, the object receives the action, and the other parts (manner, place, time) add details. For example, Robert lives in an apartment shows a subject (Robert), verb (lives), and place (in an apartment). Meanwhile, They work in the mornings shows a subject (They), verb (work), and time (in the mornings). This practice helps us understand sentence patterns and makes writing clearer.
