Hi everyone!
For today’s assignment, the vocabulary building strategy I chose to try was Context Clues. Instead of immediately looking up a word I didn't know, I tried to understand its meaning by reading the sentences around it.

I practiced this while reading a short text about daily routines.

Did it work for me?
Yes, it worked well! It helped me think more and remember the words better instead of just memorizing definitions.

Here are a couple of new words I learned using this strategy:

  • Routine: The text described a person doing the same activities every day, like waking up early and going to work. I guessed that routine means something you do regularly, and I was correct.

  • Productive: The sentence talked about having a productive day after finishing tasks. From the context, I understood that productive means doing useful things or getting work done .
