Today, I chose the "Word Map" strategy to build my vocabulary. This strategy involves picking a new word, then creating a map around it with the word’s definition, synonym, antonym, a sentence using it, and a picture (if helpful).

I picked the word "meticulous".

Definition: showing great attention to detail; very careful and precise

Synonym: careful, precise

Antonym: careless

Sentence: She kept meticulous notes during the science experiment.

This strategy worked well for me because it helped me understand the word deeply instead of just memorizing it. Creating connections made it easier to remember. I also learned the words "scrupulous" and "sloppy" as a synonym and antonym during the process. I’ll definitely use this m

ethod again!
