  • Aspect: Progressive (also called Continuous)

  • Mood: Indicative

The verb phrase "is studying" shows that the action is happening right now, which is why it’s in the present progressive. The mood is indicative because the sentence is stating a fact.

I found it interesting how the auxiliary verb “is” helps form the aspect. If anyone else looked at progressive tenses too, I’d love to see your examples!
